Choose Your Hard
Life is hard sometimes. But we get to choose which hard is worth it.
Relationships can be hard.
Walking away can be hard.
Family dynamics can be hard.
Setting boundaries can be hard.
Staying in a career that no longer fulfills you is hard.
Starting over is hard.
Neglecting your health is hard.
Showing up and doing the work is hard.
Holding onto one-sided friendships is hard.
Letting them go is hard.
Choose your hard. Or the hard will choose you.
Because avoiding the hard choice doesn’t mean you get to avoid the hard.
Sometimes it means staying too long.
Feeling resentful,
Losing pieces of yourself trying to keep everyone else comfortable.
Waking up months or years from now and realizing you're still in the same place you were afraid to leave.
That’s the other kind of hard.
Change is uncomfortable. Adjusting is uncomfortable. Starting over can be downright scary. But sometimes the hardest choice is also the one that finally puts you back on the path toward the life you deserve.

And it starts with loving yourself enough to know you matter, too.
Love yourself enough to want relationships where the effort goes both ways. People who support you without keeping score. People who celebrate your growth instead of questioning it. People who show up because they genuinely care. Not because they're wondering what they'll get in return.
Love yourself enough to set boundaries.
To change direction.
To chase the goal.
To walk away when necessary.
To begin again even when you have no idea exactly where the new road will lead.
We get ONE life.
So live it. Take the chance. Set the goal. Protect your peace. Surround yourself with people who pour back into you. And never underestimate what can happen when you finally start believing in yourself.
Choose the hard that helps you grow.
Because there will always be hard. The question is whether you choose the hard that moves you forward or wait until life chooses a hard for you.
Love yourself. Believe in yourself.
You got this.
