The Young Voices Club is an eight-week creative writing program where children ages 9-11 build confidence, develop an original story, and become published young authors in a class anthology.

Cancellation Policy

These policies are designed to help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive experience for every participant and their family. By registering a child for The Young Voices Club, the parent or legal guardian agrees to the policies outlined below. Registration and Payment Registration is confirmed once the completed registration form and full payment, or the first approved payment-plan instalment, have been received. Spaces are limited to ensure each participant receives individual attention. Registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration is accurate and complete. Participant Age The Young Voices Club is designed for children between the ages of 9 and 11. Children should fall within the recommended age range at the beginning of the program unless an exception has been discussed and approved in advance. Minimum and Maximum Enrollment Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 10 participants. A minimum of six registered participants is required for the program to run. If minimum enrollment is not reached, registered families will be notified before the program begins and may choose to: - Transfer their registration to a future session, or - Receive a full refund. Attendance and Missed Sessions Each session builds upon the skills and activities introduced in previous weeks. Regular attendance is encouraged so participants receive the full benefit of the program. Missed sessions are not eligible for refunds, credits or individual make-up classes. When possible, families may receive a brief summary or activity suggestion to help the participant continue working at home. Arrival and Pick-Up Parents and guardians are asked to arrive no more than 10 minutes before the scheduled start time and to pick up their child promptly when the session ends. Children must be signed in and signed out each week. Participants will only be released to a parent, guardian or authorized individual listed on the registration form. Written notice must be provided in advance if someone who is not listed will be picking up the child. Parents or guardians must notify the instructor as soon as possible if they expect to be late for pick-up. Behaviour Expectations The Young Voices Club is built on kindness, encouragement, creativity and respect. Participants are expected to: - Treat the instructor and other participants respectfully. - Listen while others are speaking
